Improvised Objects at Worm

Improvised Objects will be screened as part of DISK at Worm (NL) on the 4th of March 2026.

DISK
Memories are an inaccurate account of past events; instead, they are an ever-changing image of them. In fact, memory, through a selective process, creates images of both past experiences and hypothetical futures. When memory returns to a past event, it returns to the source of that event, rather than recalling the last thing remembered of it. However, memory employs selective images of the present and the future in addition to a wider image of the past to reconstruct that specific event. "Disk" video collection is related to a broad interpretation of memory.

"Nine projects have been selected for the first edition of Lightroom: IFFR’s new industry platform for immersive storytelling, taking place during the IFFR Pro Days (Friday 30 January to Wednesday 4 February). Lightroom brings together all XR, VR and interactive projects previously presented as works-in-progress and works-in-development in CineMart and Darkroom, creating one unified market space for immersive work."
